Jetscram Design officially started in 2003 by Randy Apuzzo, a computer science student at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The word jetscram is a play off scramjet, a plane that can reach incredible speeds. Imagine reaching Tokyo from New York in two hours. Web pages move much faster, a browser in Tokyo can display information accessed from a New York host in seconds.
Jetscram's philosophy is strictly based around neat code, strong platforms and typography. There is a lack of all three in most websites today. Neat code insures that users with disabilities and search engines can read every bit of information a website provides. Strong platforms allow users to navigate and access information with ease. Careful sensitivity to typography will provide all information in a pleasurable environment.
Jetscram.com has been through many revisions since 2002. Currently the site is in revision 9. Click the links below to track the progress.
